VOLUME - Volunteers for Unaccompanied Minors Get Educated! - is a project within the framework of the EU program Erasmus+ (Key Action 2 – Strategic Partnerships in Adult Education). European studies have found that a common challenge reported by volunteers in this field, is the lack of specialized and trained staff. The VOLUME project aims to support those volunteers who are providing services to unaccompanied minors, by developing an online training platform that will support their professional learning and ultimately, improve the outcomes for the young people with whom they are working. The project brings together partners from five European countries, who are experienced in migration and integration services. Collectively, they develop online training modules, a blended learning curriculum, and a training platform to support the work of volunteers in this discipline.
